Well, the bag says it all...I may have gone to bed at 10:30 on New Years Eve but I still know how to live on the wild side! A few weeks ago Anna and I somehow started talking about a desire to pierce our ears. So when she was in town this past week we put the plan into action. After a delicious dinner at Nicholas, literally pita bread two times the size of my head and enough garlic to last for a month, we headed over to Claire's for the main event. The highlights of getting our ears pierced -
- calling Claire's on the way to dinner to find out how late they were open and how late they pierce...only to have the gal ask Anna how old she was..."Kim" wanted to make sure Anna could stay out until 9pm
- the three year old getting her ears pierced before us
- the six year old getting her ears pierced after us
- buying $9 glasses to go with our new bling
- following Anna's friends advice to get the cubic zirconium...go big or go home
- apologizing for our horrendous garlic breath...and "Kim" readily agreeing
If you can't get ahold of us in the next eight weeks it's because we are in our bathrooms cleaning our ears - three times a day - it's like a part time job!

This post makes me giggle... a lot... thank you:)
Loved seeing you and I think I would have loved having you as a friend in junior high. Since that wasn't possible I'm glad we got to pretend that we were still 13 together.
Sorry- that last comment was mine. I'm claiming it.
I love it!! Can't wait to see your new pierced ears. proud of the two of you!
