Nine on the 9th

Nine years ago we sent out a wedding invitation that announced ~

"I have found the one my heart loves..."

~ and it is still true! 

I can hardly believe that we have been married for nine years - it has been the best of everything.  We still make each other laugh and would choose time together with our little family above anything else.  God is good!  It is also nice to know that even if we wait a week and a half to celebrate our anniversary (lost iPhone, a Wednesday night, Paul getting ready to go elk hunting) we still really like each other! 

 

Since breakfast is my absolute favorite, we decided to do a brunch date.  Broder was the spot - a bright, tiny Swedish cafe in the midst of the fun Clinton neighborhood, which we don't visit often.  They won my heart with the small milk bottle filled with warm half and half for our coffee (it is definitely now on the 'list').  We sat at the bar which gave us a great view of the open kitchen.   We held hands, talked and shared Danish pancakes and the daily lefse.  

Just perfect.
