An Evening

 

Every once in a while Asha, Alisha and I find a time that we can have an evening together and we managed to do it once again on Friday night (birthday celebrations are always a good excuse).  It was a cold and wet evening in Portland, so that helped us make our food choices!  We wanted something warm and comforting and ended up at Podnahs Pit (we are not afraid of some good BBQ).  Oh it was good.  Asha and Alisha had brussel sprouts as one of their sides - I could have taken a bath in them, they were that wonderful.  We needed dessert as well - so we stumbled upon this perfect creperie called Suzette. We ordered our crepes and coffee in the alley and spent the rest of the evening in their cozy cafe.  After sampling our dessert crepes, I realized I probably should have just skipped dinner and went straight to dessert. 

Not only did we eat our way through the evening but we just talked, talked, talked.  I am definitely thankful for girlfriends that met me at my worst (Junior High!!) and still are two of my closest friends!
